Just for fun!
Wanting to get away from the cold and the rainy weather, my husband and I took a Caribbean cruise in January. The water was so warm we could swim for hours. So let me tell you about my favorite excursions.
Our excursion on Barbados was with award-winning photographer Ronnie Carrington, who gave us tips on how to make our photographs more intriguing. You can read more about Ronnie here. His photographs are amazing. Here are some of the photos I took on Barbados using his tips, which were about the use of color and shadow and unusual subjects.
One of my favorite islands was Bonaire. I loved the colors, the people, and yes, the shopping!
Aruba has some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. We spend an amazing day on Eagle Beach, swimming, laying in the sun. The water was so warm, bodysurfing was so fun. I could spend a month on Aruba, every day in the water.
Our last stop was Key West. What a beautiful, colorful quaint island at the very tip of the US. But my favorite spot on Key West was The Butterfly Conservatory. The butterflies were gorgeous. But look at this beautiful bird. And the flamingos. Their names are Scarlett and Rhett! Read more about The Butterfly Conservatory here.
