The Sound of Music!

The Sound of Music

My sister sent me the link to a video the other day. And I just have to say I absolutely loved it. I don’t know why, maybe because I’ve always loved The Sound of Music. Almost as much as Beauty and the Beast! Both of which I’m getting on Blu-ray for Christmas (oops, I’m not supposed to know about that, am I?). Take a look at the clip; it’s about 4 minutes long. It’s pretty amazing. I can just see myself in a BART station here in San Francisco and having all these wonderful people come dancing down into my life. Can you imagine, especially if you didn’t know it was a stunt! If you read the little blurb underneath, it does say that it was rehearsed, but still, what an amazing sight. It made me feel better, happy, just watching it. Okay, go ahead, watch. Then come back tell me if it brightened your day just a bit, too. I’m going to show it to my mom when I go down there to visit today!

Leave a comment and your contact e-mail address and I’ll enter you in the drawing for a copy of Marianne Stillings Sighs Matter, a romantic suspense offering. I’ll announce the winner on my next blog, and I’ll also add you to my newsletter for updates if you aren’t already a member. And congratulations to Kirsten, winner of Proof by Seduction by Courtney Milan from my previous blog. Please email me on skully at skully buzz dot com, Kirsten, and I’ll get the book sent out to you!

Don’t miss the excerpt on my website! Take Your Pick is available from Loose-Id. And coming soon, Dead to the Max will be in print with a fresh new cover look and a text revamp!

  1. Good morning!

You might want to watch Oprah this Thursday. Her web site says:

Thu 10/28: For the First Time in 45 Years – The Sound of Music Cast Reunites

I've already written it down to record! I hope you enjoy it too!

BTW, thanks for your clip. It DID brighten my day!

  2. Thank you, Kirsten. And congratulations on winning the book!

I'm so glad the clip brightened your day, too, Laney! And I'll check out Oprah! That'll be great!

LOL, Linda, you don't have to like musicals! But the one you have picked, 7 Brides for 7 Brothers is is also one of my favs!

I'm glad you've seen the clip, Jane, it's marvelous.

And I do think i have to get the DVD on Blu Ray for Xmas, too, Mariska!

Glad you love the movie, too, Estella!

  3. Sorry, amazingrose, I missed you. Yes, try it again! Especially since it's been a long time since you've seen it! We had our Norwegian relatives visiting in April and Line and I watched it together, and the hubbies played with the sports car!
