Goodbye to my little CT

black cat in the sun

I’ve talked about CT the cat in previous blogs and on my website. Last week we lost CT to her battle with cancer. She put up a valiant fight, but my husband and I felt that the steroids were no longer working for her, and we decided it was best to let her go. I miss her very much and the house is very empty without her. She liked to sit on my lap in the mornings as I was doing my emails and writing blogs, so it is especially hard as I type this now. But I am also glad that she is no longer in pain. I held her until the very end. She was a good little girl and gave us much love and laughter. When we lost our dog Star to a brain tumor, CT was there to give us some much needed loving. This is a photo of her in her favorite spot in the atrium, right under the hydrangea tub. We would sit out there for hours together while I did my writing. We love you, CT. You are are missed terribly.

  1. [sob] Rest in peace, CT. (I'm going to post a photo of her on my FB page … I just don't want it to take you by surprise as you grieve, so I'm telling you here.)

    Hugs to you and Ole.

  2. Thank you, Shelley. It was very hard to let CT go. I probably kept her with us longer than I should have. But we gave her all the loving we could. I am very glad that I had the opportunity to show her how loved she was. And we miss her terribly.

  3. So sorry for your loss. I know how special our little friends are!

Thank you for KN2! I thoroughly enjoyed it and talking with you about it. It was very nice to have more closure for Alexis.

Now I am off to read She's gotta be Mine!

  4. thank you, Rustye. I appreciate your condolences. We will feel her loss for a long time.

I'm so glad you enjoyed KN2, and I've enjoyed our discussions about it. Hope you like She's Gotta Be Mine. I can't remember if you are reading the West Coast series, but I've got book 3 out today!
