Max Starr series

I was happy to find this series after all 5 books were written so I could read them one after the other. The only negative thing for me was the amount of sexual activity on the part of Max when her life was continuously in danger. I would think if a killer was after me I would be wanting to get stronger locks for my house instead of having sex with my boyfriend in a car, truck, against a wall in an alley, etc.
