Just as good as the first book, if not better!

Often I find a series starts with a bang, then becomes worn, jaded, repetitive, or varies so far from the first book that you are left wondering ‘ WTF?’. This book was entertaining, and whilst it followed the events of book 1 it could be read as an entertaining story on it’s own merits.I found the Brax and Simone story enjoyable, with plenty of love, drama, mystery, angst, and action thrown in.Thanks for the book!
