funny, sexy, but not lacking in seriousness
English is not my first language, so this may be considered an alien view. When a novel is described as being funny and sexy, we tend easily to assume that it lacks in projecting the seriousness of life’s values. This one does not. Characters do not exist here just to be funny and to have supposedly passionate sex, but they are realistic enough and much human. It kept me feeling comfortable and enjoying reading till the last page. That’s all that mattered. Funny touch is sometimes lost where the story is at less relaxed stages, such as in the height of mystery. Apart from that, it is ideal for easy reading. I see the author is a decent person, very witty, has shrewd eyes, and knows what it’s like to have multi-G-spot-orgasms.
