I thoroughly enjoyed this second chance romance between two older divorced people who didn’t think they would marry again. Rose had been married thirty years and had spent the last five taking care of her mother with dementia and then her husband lost his job and left and then her mother died within weeks. She had to find a job to support herself. She became a caregiver for Agnes, a feisty 87 year old woman, and they instantly hit it off. Declan, who hired her to watch Agnes, was also divorced. They went to Ireland, since it was on Agnes’ bucket list and she wanted to see where her favourite movie was made. Rose and Declan fell for each other, but there were complications. The ending was great. I enjoyed Agnes and her antics. I voluntarily reviewed an advance review copy.
