Excellent Romance

Paige has always loved Evan, a secret she hugged close to her heart for nine years. When her sister’s devastating betrayal is revealed, Paige cannot keep her feelings hidden any longer. She is a beacon of light for Evan. Despite believing he needs to keep the walls around his heart stronger than ever, he is irresistibly drawn to Paige’s sweet, pure heart and the sparks flaring between them. – Evan did not have a good childhood, but he got with foster parents Susan and Bob who were wonderful with him and the other Mavericks. Susan and Bob were great, and I liked all the Mavericks. The love between them was inspiring. Paige was sweet, smart, and loving. I was glad to learn why Evan chose Paige’s sister over her initially. The sister was a sociopath and not likeable. Evan was smart and kind. The psychology part of the story was interesting. This is an excellent read.
