If you love smalltown heartfelt romance—which I do!—then this book is for you. I loved Emma and Sam’s story, and I’m sure you will too. And it’s free right now! But only until Feb. 6!
He left small town living to pursue his dreams of professional baseball career. She stayed behind to follow hers. Can two opposites find redemption and heal their emotional scars? A poignant journey of two lovers destined to be together.
“This story takes you on an emotional journey—filled with wounds from the past!” 5 star review
“Emotional, engaging, satisfying, must read!” 5 star review
I’m home and hearth. He’s a superstar baseball player.
I’ve always loved Sam Parker. He was warm sunshine, laughter and passion, and in his arms, I dreamed of white picket fences and happily-ever-afters. But our dreams didn’t jive. Sam had aspirations beyond running a farm. I always blamed him for leaving me, but the truth is, I was terrified of being the fish out of water if I followed him.
Sam’s dad, Joe Parker, became my surrogate father in the decade since Sam left Hope’s Crossing. Joe’s the only family I have, and I just learned he has leukemia. I’ll do whatever it takes to save him.
My work is cut out for me because these two men are as hardheaded as a pair of Billy goats. They can’t agree on anything and haven’t talked since Sam chose baseball over farming. Sam’s retired, so there’s no reason he can’t come home. But getting these two stubborn men to find common ground might be my biggest challenge yet. I’ve got to save Joe, even if it means facing Sam again after all this time.

And now I want to tell you about California Dreaming and a fabulous new series by Bella Andre and Nicky Arden. You know that with Bella and Nicky, this new team is extraordinary! So meet the Davenports.
The new series is close to my heart because it takes place in Carmel-by-the-Sea, which is right next to Pacific Grove where my mom lived for years, and she and I often went to Carmel. And did you know that Clint Eastwood used to be mayor of Carmel? So I know this is going to be a fabulous series! And first up is California Dreaming! What a great title!
Meet the Davenport family! Six brothers and sisters who call picturesque Carmel-by-the-Sea home. Successful, brilliant, and passionate, the only thing they all still need is the perfect partner in love and life.
Hotshot movie star Archer Davenport has never met a stunt he couldn’t ace, a challenge he couldn’t overcome, or a woman he couldn’t have. When he breaks his leg during a dangerous stunt, the production company insists on hiring a live-in caretaker for him. He refuses the help…until he meets Tessa Taylor. She’s not only caring and beautiful, she’s also as tough on him as a drill sergeant.
California Dreaming will be out on Feb 1 so get your preorder in now for this amazing Carmel-by-the-Sea story!
